If you have old and expired prescriptions lying around the apartment in Roanoke, VA, now is the time to get rid of those medicines safely.

Drug take backs not only aim to protect the Roanoke Valley's waterways, but it also helps keep our kids safe and helps prevent drug abuse.

Please bring unused or expired medications to the designated locations where they can be safely destroyed.

On Saturday, October 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. drug take backs will be held all over the Roanoke Valley.

A list of the locations are as follows: Roanoke Civic Center; Botetourt County at the Daleville Kroger; Roanoke County at the Tanglewood Kroger; Vinton at the Hardy Road Kroger; and Friendship Manor off of Plantation Road.
